Sprung Springhouse

Sprung Springhouse was born in Milford, Connecticut in 2002.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and works as a free-lance designer in suburban Boston.

Her fascination with computer fonts led to her current series of prints. "The moment I turned on my mac I thought the little picture fonts were so cute," she explains. "I am inspired by their simplicity and intrinsic relationship with negative space."

Most art critics called her show "post-modern garbage." She had the last laugh when the show sold out in its first week and, as a result of the show's success, she was commissioned to create a billboard-size mural for downtown Stamford, CT.
