Rusty Post

A native of The Bronx, Rusty was a Police Officer until 2007.

After his second divorce he decided to attend evening classes at the University of the Arts "to meet chicks." What he met was his feminine side and an artistic talent he never knew he had.

Rusty tells us, "It was the most important and moving experience of my life. After the macho posturing I have to do all day as a cop it is a relief to be able to express myself in this new and beautiful way."

He has shown in galleries in New York, Chicago, Washington DC, Baltimore, Detroit, Los Angeles, New Orleans and Hoboken. In 2021 he received the Canadian Artiste de l'An Grand Prix (shown) in spite of the fact he has never had an exhibit in Canada.

Jennifer is particularly pleased to present his lovely collection of sensitive pastel prints.

And did he meet any chicks?

"You bet! Since I've become an artist the babes just can't get enough of me. It's great!"
